_Andrew MacRae
​Andrew is a molecular biologist with a decade of research experience. He earned his PhD at the University of California, Santa Cruz (USA) and conducted post-doctoral research at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain) and the Centre for Genomic Regulation (Spain).
His research career largely focused on understanding RNA mediated regulation of gene expression. During this time Andrew actively collaborated with scientists inside and outside of his primary institution and published several research articles.
Prior to joining Lifelink, Andrew worked for the life science equity firm Ysios Capital (Spain). At Ysios Capital he evaluated US and European early to mid-stage biotherapeutics including gene and cell therapies, biologics and small molecules.
